Those who participate with Caminando Unidos A.C. act as educators, workshop instructors, volunteers, and in coordination we are a small group of women and men interested in putting our ideals to action in order to make this world a little better. |

We are interested in constructive education based on the theory that we can always learn more, as well as education practices like those of Piaget, Freinet, and methodologies of High Scope. All of our work coincides with Lasallista and Gandhiana philosophies. We attempt to live daily the dream of a better world for everyone (generating more just and equitable relations within those with whom we participate), but we focus primarily on children that live in marginalized conditions and extreme poverty. |

In
our Education and Social Welfare programs we primarily attend to children
from one to fourteen years of age. In our Production Project we work with
young-adults ages 14 to 22, who benefit as well by our Social Welfare
program. We also include the families of our students within our learning
space as a way to integrate the programs into the general community. |
