The methodologies used in this program have been applied after years of research observing what techniques and methods work. These methodologies are based on the constructivism of Piaget, proposals of a new school of Freinet, and from High Scope. In applying these methods, we hope to form independent individuals, through critical development in their social surroundings. This involves concentrating on the strengths of the children and establishing equitable relationships between educators and the students, helping them acquire confidence and security to choose the course of their actions. These methodologies use routine within a framework: routine which conforms to distinct spaces and activities.
Each daily structure will involve:

A Time of Welcoming. Space that allows each child to share thoughts and emotions in a familiar social setting

Academics. Space that includes different areas to study subjects such as mathematics, Spanish, and natural and social sciences. Each area has materials for students to use in both individual and group settings. These materials include folders, questionnaires (worksheets), puzzles, paint, play-doo, maps, crossword puzzles, etc… Each student can participate in an area of their choice, deciding what they will do and which materials they wish to use. They are also given a time for evaluation at the end of each session.

Through these activities, student can learn what trades appeal to them and what they might be interested in focusing on as a young adult in the near future.
